Trademark Watch & Brand Protection Service
Continuous monitoring of official Trademark Journals to detect and block infringing trademark filings before they gain registration.
Overview
Securing a trademark registration certificate is only the first half of brand protection; active enforcement is the second. In India, thousands of new trademark applications are published every week in the official Trade Marks Journal. The Trademark Registry examiners do not proactively contact existing trademark owners when a deceptively similar mark is advertised. If you do not actively monitor the journal and fail to file a Notice of Opposition within the strict 4-month statutory publication window, the infringing mark will be automatically granted registration under Section 23 of the Act. Once registered, canceling an infringing trademark through rectification or litigation takes years of expensive courtroom proceedings. A Trademark Watch Service acts as an early warning surveillance radar. By scanning every journal publication using AI-powered search algorithms and manual legal reviews, JRC Legal identifies phonetic imitations, visual clones, and confusingly similar marks the instant they appear, giving you the critical window to block them effortlessly.
